Houston Food Bank delivered 10 pallets of fresh produce to Sugar Grove Church for Thanksgiving. Members sorted and packed items into baskets to be distributed.
Sugar Grove hosted a gift exchange called Christmas Sharing for 100 families from our community. Members did things like guiding families and wrapping gifts in the toy room and the parent gift room. It transformed the church into a shop for families that otherwise couldn't afford gifts. Children went separately to choose gifts for their parents while their parents got to choose gifts for their kids. Families left with smiles on their faces, as their Christmas was made even merrier.
